I am a senior marketing student originally from Brookfield, WI. I have been playing table tennis since I was very young, but did not start seeing the more competitive side until I joined the UW-Madison team. I joined the executive board my sophomore year as part of the finance team, and have been involved ever since. I enjoy the club because it offers the perfect balance of competitive and recreational play, and allows you to involve yourself as much or little as you want. I look forward to meeting everyone and having a fun year!

I'm a sophomore finance and accounting student from Milwaukee, WI. I’ve been a devoted tennis player since the age of 6, so whatever skill I have in ping-pong, I have tennis to thank!  Within my first couple of practices with UWTTC, I learned that my “tennis grip” with my paddle was weakening my game quite a bit, so even though I’m still getting used to a proper grip, I’m able to do things I could never do before! I joined the board last semester, and worked on the tournament team to hold a great tournament this past April. I'm looking forward to another great year with the club, and hope to have a lot of fun!

I'm a junior majoring in Political Science and Russian. I've been a member of the UW Table Tennis Club since my freshman year and enjoyed it very much! I first learned to play table tennis in Turkmenistan when I was 7, and competed nationally for three years before coming to U.S. Although I did not play for eight years before coming to Madison, I quickly caught up and improved my table tennis skills immensely, due to the great coaches and teammates :)  Therefore, the UWTTC has not only given me a chance to improve my skills and compete in collegiate tournaments, but also allowed me to meet a lot of great people a long the way.

I am a Senior student majoring in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. I started playing table tennis in China at about 11, and keep playing until now. Most of the time, I play competitive table tennis. Actually, I like all kinds of sports because they make me feel energetic. Other than that, I am also interested in computers, like making websites, writing programs, etc. This is my second year in the club, and I hope to meet more new faces.

This year I am a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin. I've been in the Table Tennis Club since my freshman and joined the executive board this year. I grew up in Racine, WI playing ping pong with my dad in our basement. My skill level is not high enough to be able to successfully compete, but I love playing. I am a Biology major and am pre-dental.

Hello folks, I'm Andrew and I am a second year student hear at UW. My major is marketing as I am hopefully going into brand campaigning or consulting. Unofficially, I've been playing Table Tennis for five years in my house. I've been on the UW Table Tennis team the past two years and have really honed my playing skills since I joined. I first started playing Table Tennis because Tennis was my favorite sport all through high school. I immediately loved the fast pace of the game and how it takes slightly more skill than tennis as well.

My name is Wheeyeon Wesley Whang, just Whee for short.
I am 19 and currently a junior here. I am a Consumer Science major and have been playing table tennis for a little over 2 years.
I started to play randomly cause my pops back home in Cali bought a table for our church and he is damn good. We started playing and I really enjoyed it, so I continued practicing. I hope to meet you all. If you have any questions about anything, don't hesitate to ask!
