UWTTC Membership
The table tennis club is open to UW-Madison students, faculty, and staff. The club does not discriminate on the basis of age, color, creed, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.
UWTTC Member Benefits
We offer free coaching by some of the top players in the state at each of our meetings, free equipment for use during practices, club tournaments, t-shirt and equipment discounts, and much more. Top players will represent UW-Madison at intercollegiate tournaments, most of which are paid for by the UWTTC. We are also sponsored by Killerspin, the premier table tennis brand in the U.S., and a group of members receive free clothing from them each year. There is also the benefit of being involved in the executive board, meeting other students and faculty, and using exercise as a positive distraction from studying.
UWTTC Member Responsibilities
Members of UW Table Tennis Club should attend regular practice every week; if you will be absent for particular reason, please inform a board member in advance. UWTTC members should follow the rules not to damage the practice facilities and equipment.
UWTTC Member Fees
The membership fee should be around $25.00 per semester. However, the membership fees might be adjusted depending on the club's financial situation. This fee will fluctuate around this number in order to accommodate the expenses of the club. The fee is not made to discourage membership. The fee covers new equipment, equipment maintenance, NCTTA membership, some tournament fees, and other administrative expenses. The membership fee should be paid by the meeting after the kickoff meeting.
